Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced their preliminary squad ahead of the Nidahas Trophy – a tri-nation series in Sri Lanka which involves Bangladesh and India alongside the hosts. The tournament is scheduled to commence on March 6, with the match between India and the island nation. A total of seven T20Is will be played including the final which will be played on March 18. 

Minister of Sports Honorable Dayasiri Jayasekera gave his approval to the preliminary squad for the hosting nation. According to the media release by SLC, the final 15 member squad would be announced on the 28th February, 2018.
