Tamim's clinical Peshawar dismantle Islamabad

Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United face each other in the Pakistan Super League as the latter won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Kamran Akmal, who scored a duck in the previous match against Multan Sultan, showed no mercy to Islamabad bowlers. He picked up a half-century and finally got out scoring 53 off 30.
On the other hand, Bangladesh batsman Tamim Iqbal kept rotating the strike and played a composed innings. He along with Dwayne Smith carried the momentum that Kamran had offered the team. The left-handed batsman got dismissed by Andre Russell on 39 runs.
Dwayne Smith was out caught and bowled by Faheem Ashraf after scoring 30 runs. Following his departure, Zalmi skipper Darren Sammy, and Harris Sohail returned to the pavilion scoring less than 10 runs. The latter was dismissed by Mohammad Sami, whereas Faheem sent Sami back to the hut.
Mohammad Hafeez remained unbeaten on 30 runs to take the score past 170.

In the next innings, Zalmi bowling attack made the target look like a herculean task to the Islamabad batting order. Umaid Asif bagged 4 wickets in his first 2 overs as Islamabad became 25 for 4 after four overs.
Ibtisam Sheikh took 3 scalps, whereas Wahab Riaz and Chris Jordan picked up one wicket each.
While all the batsmen failed miserably, Faheem Ashraf tried to salvage some pride for the Islamabad-based franchise by picking up a half-century and remaining not out on 53.
