Chris Lynn ruled out of PSL, doubtful for IPL

Australia batsman Chris Lynn was due to feature for Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Premier League [PSL] set to commence on Thursday. However, he has been ruled out of the tournament owing to shoulder injury.
Cricket Australia (CA) confirmed that Lynn will return to Brisbane to undergo further assessment after he dislocated his right shoulder during Australia’s T20I match against Ne Zealand.
Australia physio Alex Kountouris reportedly said, "Chris dislocated his right shoulder after landing awkwardly on it when fielding the ball. His shoulder was able to be put back into place on the ground and he was consequently sent for X-Rays which revealed no major bone injury.

"At this stage, Chris will not travel to the Pakistan Super League in Dubai. He will return to Brisbane to undergo further scans and assessment and from there we will have a better understanding of the ongoing management, along with the return to play timeframes."
The right-handed batsman’s chances to take part in the IPL is also in jeopardy following his injury. He is a key player for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the lucrative tournament.
"I'm disappointed to not go to the Pakistan Super League as planned (this week), but I’ll now focus on rehabilitation and working as hard as I can, with the hope to still take part in the Indian Premier League later this year," he said.
