Graeme Swann is a waste of money, says Warner

The rivalry between Australian and England players is always
prevalent. The eternal rivals are known to hold nothing back when taking digs
at their nemesis—and David Warner is no exception. The talented left-handed
opener is not someone who refrains from speaking his mind and has blasted Graeme
Swann on Twitter at the very first opportunity that he got.
The former England off-spinner has been hired to commentate in the Big Bash League this season alongside former team-mate Michael Vaughan. However, this hasn’t gone down too well with the Sunrisers Hyderbad’s captain as he took to Twitter to label the Englishman as a waste of money for the channel.

The Australian used 3-0 as a reference to Swann deciding to
retire midway during the Ashes in 2013, after England went down 3-0 in the first
three games—much akin to what happened this time around. In that series, David
Warner scored the most runs to inflict pain on the English bowlers.
Meanwhile, Graeme Swann wasn’t one to stay quiet as he replied back at the jab within a few hours itself, using the contrast between Warner’s showing at home and away as a reference in comeback.
Indeed, in two away Ashes series, Warner could manage to score only 556 runs at an average of 37.06, which is much below the 908 runs at an average of 60.53 that he has in home Ashes.
