Bangladesh hold the worst ratio


Among the 47 Test matches played in 2017, a total of 1502 wickets had fallen. 918 of those wickets were catch-outs and a total of 198 catches were missed.
South Africa took the most number of catches in 2017. They dropped 17 catches, while being successful on 139 occasions.
India, on the other hand, dropped the most number of catches last year. They took 117 catches and missed 31 in the 11 Tests they have played.

Bangladesh have contributed 61 amidst the 918 catches that had been taken and dropped 25 catches in total. Although they stood 3rd in the most number of dropped-catches' list following India and West Indies, their catch-dropping ratio is the most on the record.
Mushfiqur Rahim, Imrul Kayes, Nurul Hasan and Litton Das have performed as the wicket-keeper for the Tigers and took a total of 25 catches on various occasions. The other fielders took 36 catches in the 8 Tests they have played.
