Darren Lehmann will quit Australia

The coaching stint of Darren Lehmann with Australia has been
nothing but spectacular. The former left-handed batsman took over from Mickey
Arthur and helped Australia regain the heights which they enjoyed under
Steve Waugh and Ricky Ponting.
With a World Cup win in 2015, Lehmann has further enriched
his name in the coaching arena of the game. Right now, Australia are thrashing
England at home in the Ashes and Lehmann has only swelled his achievements with
the Baggie Green.
However, this will one of his final Ashes series as he is
going to leave the post of Australia cricket coach next year.

“That will be it. It will be a case of too much time, too
much travel,” Lehmann replied when asked if he would extend his stay.
“For me, I’ve really enjoyed the role and (am) loving it.
We’ll just get to that point and work out what we do from there,” he added.
Lehmann will have to defend his World Cup crown next year before taking on England in another Ashes series, after which he is going to say adieu to the Aussies. Justin Langer is among the favourites to replace him as the coach of the team, with the likes of Jason Gillespie and Ricky Ponting also in contention.
