So Sri Lanka get a handful of nothing from there tour of India. The Lions managed to grab one victory among the 9 times they have faced India throughout the whole tour. Their only win came when they defeated India by 7 wickets in the 1st ODI match.

Today, in the 3rd T20I, India won by 5 wickets at Wankhede and whitewashed Sri Lanka in the T20I series. Winning the toss, India chose to field first.

Sri Lanka could not manage to score more than 135 runs and lost 7 wickets in the process. A partnership of 24 runs in the last 15 balls came from Dasun Shanaka and Akila Dananjaya, as they remained unbeaten at 29 runs and 11 runs respectively.

The match was an opportunity for Mohammad Siraj to showcase his ability. Despite a poor performance against New Zealand at Rajkot this year when he conceded 53 runs from the 4 overs he had bowled, Siraj was picked up to play today's game. But today his bowling figures were again expensive, as he allowed 45 runs in 24 deliveries with the highest economy rate in the whole match.

Jaydev Unadkat was the Man of the Match for his astounding bowling performance where he gave away 15 runs in 4 overs, taking 2 wickets.

This series was a test for the home team on how well they can do without there captain Virat Kohli in the limited-over editions. The team did fine except for the defeat that ended Sri Lanka's 12-match losing streak.

The Men in Blue look all set to take on the Proteas in their upcoming tour of South Africa. On the other hand, Sri Lanka will try to find out what went wrong after their only win in the limited overs' series and also in the Tests before that.
