Pakistan captain Babar Azam was confident and said they are prepared for the ‘high intensity’ match against arch-rival India.
Pakistan sealed an outstanding 238-run win against Nepal in the Asia Cup opener as skipper Babar smashed a 131-ball 151 for his 19th ODI hundred while Ifthikhar Ahmed scored an unbeaten 109 in 71 balls.
Then, Shadab Khan picked up four wickets and pace duo Haris Rauf and Shaheen Shah Afridi each took two wickets to skittle out Nepal on 104 runs.

After the match, Babar said he was satisfied with the match result and it was a good preparation for the side ahead of the big clash against India.

"This game was good preparation for the India game because it gave us confidence. India-Pakistan will always bring high intensity. We want to give 100% in every match, hope to do that there as well," said Babar.
Pakistan will now fly to Pallekelle for the second group-stage match and Babar also lauded batter Ifthikar for his splendid performance.
"Iftikhar also played a great innings when he came on. When he came in, I told him to play his natural game and he was comfortable after hitting two or three boundaries," he added.
