While India has came prepared for the pink ball under the guidance of Rahul Dravid in the National Cricket Academy, Bangladesh team is currently without their batting consultant Neil McKenzie.
The South African left the team after the first day of the opening Test at Indore and will not be available for the second Test match at Eden though according to many observers it was the time when he was required the most as Bangladeshi batsmen are not too familiar with pink ball.

According to BCB insider’s board had extended his agreement after the World Cup on day basis [meaning certain amount of days in a year] and due to this the South African could make a way out at the middle of the series.
Prior to the series BCB stated that they would see the performance of the South African in the opening Test before taking a decision about him.
However, it seems now BCB had very little to work out with him considering his new agreement does not guarantee that he will be available for a full-fledged tour/home series of Tigers.
A top BCB said that it is not that he is just their white ball batting consultant rather he is their batting consultant across formats but the agreement is done on number of day’s basis.
‘’I cannot comment anything at the moment as I have to see his schedule as we have day-basis contract with him,’’ he said.
