Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president came down heavily on the players after they put up a disappointing performance to stand on the brink of a defeat against Test cricket’s newest nation Afghanistan.
He said there was clear lack of planning in winning the Test, which should be investigated.

“There was clear lack of planning. We need to investigate. We were planning to play on sporting wicket but that didn’t happen,” he said while talking to the reporters on Sunday.
The BCB boss also questioned of not playing any pacer in the final XI against Afghanistan.
''We all know Afghanistan’s spinners are world class. But I am left in surprised state by watching no pace bowler in the playing XI. Is this the outside planning,” he questioned.
Papon also came hard on Liton Das and Soumya Sarkar, saying they are not Test standard player.
“Liton Das and Soumya Sarkar are not Test match player or thing do not fall into the planning. Now this is the time to change. You will see the changes in the upcoming Tri-nation series.”
