Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan said on Friday that their performance against Afghanistan does not suggest they have become a bad Test nation.
‘’Good and bad time comes for everyone. We have Test matches against big teams before, like England Australia. We had two bad-day. That’s why we on back-foot. But it’s not like we did not win against big teams. They also had bad days, lost against us. So you have to take it easily that you can have bad days at cricket,’’ said Mehedy after they were pushed on the back foot by the tourist, courtesy 374 runs second innings lead.

Mehedy said that though it will be challenging they are still not losing all hope.
‘’There is always to challenge in Test cricket, fourth innings is always tough. But we have to patient and face the challenge,’’ he said.
‘’We scored 400 against Sri Lanka before[ and taking that as a inspiration],’’ he said.
‘’Every session is important here. If we believe we can do something good and everyone come up to contribution, I think we can do well. We played one bad innings, that does not mean we will play bad in second innings too. If we can dominate, we will have better chance,’’ he added.
‘’It is tough to chase so many runs. it is tough for us. But there is no reason not to try. We have that opportunity; we have two days. And if we lose after that, then we can see. But we have to wait till the end,’’ he said
