Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan said that they are unlucky not to get wickets despite bowling in the right areas and added that he was surprised with the way the tourist went against them showing patience and composure.
Opener Ibrahim Zadran hit 87 while Asghar Afghan followed his first innings 92 with 50 as Afghanistan scored 237-8, before a power-failure in stadium brought a premature end to the day three, with the lead swelling to an improbable 374.

‘’They have just started Test cricket. So excitement will work among them. They will try show something good. They came with good preparations, we also had good preparation but there are sometime when you can have bad time. It was bad luck that we did not had better situation,’’ said Mehedy.
‘’I think we bowled in right areas but we could not pick the wickets. They played good cricket, showed good patience. When I bowled I did not had wickets in the early of the innings, I took wickets later in the innings. I had struggle a lot to take wickets. So I think they played really good cricket, have to admit that,’’ he said.
‘’They must have played domestic cricket (longer format), not only the shorter formats. They must played four-day matches. And they have many batsmen at around 30. They have adapted Test cricket well and quick,’’ he added.
