Mushfiqur, who resumed the day 111 runs, was not out on 135 while skipper Mahmudullah is batting on 35 runs.

Zimbabwe received a big blow as their pace bowler Terndai Chatara before left the field sustaining a muscle strain just before delivering the second ball of the second over and the third ball of the over.

According to ZC spokesperson Chatara has suffered a suspected Grade 2 quad muscle strain and is now out of the match.

Chatara then hit one of the cracks to extract plenty of life out of the surface. It jagged back appreciably to take the inside edge of Rahim.

Mushfiqur can call himself lucky as he was dropped by Regis Chakabva went for the catch with a dive but despite stretching his right-hand, he couldn't pouch it.

Curiously, the on field umpire ruled it as leg-byes he UltraEdge, on replays, though, clearly suggested that Rahim had eked out a nick and it was a lucky escape for Rahim 112 runs.
