India are set to take on England for a five-match Test series starting from the first of August. India have already won the T20I series but failed to do the same in the ODIs as they lost 2-1 against the hosts.

And now, the two teams prepare themselves for the Test series. Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly has imparted his opinion on what India need to do in order to win the Test series.

"(It will depend) on the batsmen. You have to score 400 runs in Test cricket. If they get 400 runs in the first innings, they will win Test matches," Ganguly told reporters at the Eden Gardens.

He then went on to praise the Indian team and revealed his belief that should they bat well, they have a chance to win.

"They are a good team. If they bat well, they will do well in England. They can win the Test series. India has got a big chance of winning," he further added.

Ganguly also spoke about MS Dhoni and his reported retirement claims. The Prince of Kolkata thinks that the decision to hang up his booths is up to Dhoni while also citing his confidence that the former India captain will be back among the runs for the team.
