Sachin Tendulkar joins hands with Middlesex

Legendary former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has partnered with Middlesex to launch a new cricket academy with the main intention of not only producing great cricketers but also good “citizens”.
The academy will focus on providing coaching for children between 9 and 14 years old.
"The objective is not only to produce good cricketers but also good global citizens," Tendulkar said.
The academy will also deliver opportunities to underprivileged children with talent via 100 scholarships while Merchant Taylor’s School in Northwood is set to host the first camp in August with the target of hosting more camps in Mumbai and London.

And Tendulkar added that he and the club are focusing on the best possible cricket education for the children.
"Middlesex and I are focused on providing the very best in cricket education, as much as possible, for our students," he added.
Meanwhile, the chief executive of Middlesex Richard Goatley stated that collaborating with Tendulkar is “a great privilege” and that the programme is set to provide an unforgettable experience for the children.
"Our established academy programme, twinned with Sachin's unique insight, knowledge and ability will provide kids with a unique experience they will never forget," he said.
Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest batsmen of all-time, scoring over 34000 runs in international cricket along with a century of centuries.
