England fight back against the visitors

While India won the first game against England in their three-match T20I series, the home side have clawed their way back into the series by winning the second T20I against the Men in Blue.
The Indians were on a seven-match winning streak before the Englishman halted the Indians in a match which showed the latter’s limited overs credentials. After winning the toss and bowling first, England restricted India to a score of a paltry 148.
Captain Virat Kohli top-scored with 47 runs from 38 balls while MS Dhoni scored 32 from 24 balls. Suresh Raina, batting at 5, scored 27 from 20 balls. For the Englishmen, David Willey, Jake Ball, Liam Plunkett and Adil Rashid took a wicket each with Willey being the pick of the lot as he gave away only 18 runs from his 4 overs.
In response, England’s top three couldn’t give them the start that they are usually accustomed to. After losing Jason Roy, Jos Buttler and Joe Root with 44 runs on the board after 6.5 overs, Alex Hales – batting at four – picked up the pieces for his team and played a match-winning knock of 58 from 41 balls.
Jonny Bairstow gave the final killer blow with an 18-ball 28 runs innings as England won the game by five wickets and with two balls in hand.
Umesh Yadav took two wickets for India while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal took a wicket each but couldn’t stop the hosts from winning the game.

The series is now tied at 1-1.
