Kemar Roach was surprised with five-fer

As the Bangladesh batsmen stepped on the field to face the West Indian pacers on a green top that resembled a carpet more than a pitch, all eyes were on Shannon Gabriel – the man who took 20 wickets against Sri Lanka in three Tests and was in hot form.
However, by the time 9 overs finished in the match, Shannon Gabriel had no wickets to his name but Kemar Roach had five. When asked about his rapid rampage against the Tigers, Roach himself stated that he was quite surprised at how quickly he got the wickets but was also happy to help his team be in a favourable position.
"I thought that it [five wickets] came very rapidly, it was a bit surprising. But obviously to go out there perform for the West Indies is the man goal and to do that today and put the team in a good position... I am happy with that.”

Roach only bowled five overs in the game and added that he felt some discomfort on his hamstring but after he got some treatment from physiotherapist David Kershaw, he thinks that he is ready to be back for the second innings.
"I have got something in my hamstring, but I pulled out of the innings to get some treatment from Dave [physiotherapist David Kershaw] and I think he did a fantastic job and I think am ready to go in the second innings again.”
Finally, he revealed the plan of the team, which is to put around 500 runs on board and ensure batting only once and winning the game.
"The plan is to bat once and put 450-500 runs on the board, which I think will be tough for the Bangladeshis to get. Once we bat and score that runs, I think we will be fine to win this Test."
Roach’s fury dismantled Bangladesh to their lowest ever score in Tests as they could only make 43 runs against the Caribbean kings. After coming to bat, West Indies have put up 201 for 2 after the day’s play.
