Sabbir, Anamul Haque could fly to West Indies for ODI series


Bangladesh could call up Anamul Haque, Sabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Hossain, Abu Hider Rony and Mustafizur Rahman for their upcoming ODI series against West Indies in the Caribbean, according to Cricfrenzy’s sources.
Mustafizur Rahman missed Bangladesh’s T20I series against Afghanistan after injuring himself in the Indian Premier League in Mumbai Indians’ last game of the competition while fielding off his own bowling against Rishabh Pant.
As a result, he suffered from a hairline fracture on his left foot and had to be excluded from the T20I series against Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, Sabbir Rahman could also feature in the ODI series as the dashing right-handed batsman showed his credentials with a brilliant 165 runs against Sri Lanka A in a first-class match while he was representing Bangladesh A.
Two more players that are currently playing for Bangladesh A team, Abu Hider Rony and captain Mosaddek Hossain could also be called up for the ODI series.
These five players, along with ODI captain Mashrafe Mortaza, are set to fly for the Caribbean on the 14th of July to join the rest of the team, who are currently preparing themselves for the two-match Test series against Shannon Gabriel and co.
Bangladesh will play their first Test of the tour on the 4th of July while the second Test begins on the 12th of July.
