Kiwi pacer replaces Pat Cummins for Mumbai

With Pat Cummins out of the Indian Premier League due to a back stress injury, Mumbai Indians needed someone to replace the in-form Australian in the pace department and also in the lower order with the bat.
While Ben Cutting is already on the team, he is not entirely a proper replacement for Cummins, which is why the Mumbai Indians have snapped up Adam Milne of New Zealand.
Although no official announcement of his arrival has been made, he has been pictured with the Mumbai team and has already trained with the team.
This is not the first time for the Kiwi pacer in the Indian Premier League as he has played in five games for the Royal Challengers Bangalore between 2016 and 2017.

He will now be working under his childhood hero and idol, Shane Bond, who is a coach with the Indians, and would look forward to making an impact in the absence of Cummins.
Milne has played 70 T20 games and has picked up 83 wickets in those matches at an average of 23.21 and a healthy economy rate of 7.77. He is also very able with the bat, scoring 142 runs – from the 26 innings that he got to bat – and has an average of 17.75 with a healthy strike rate of 118.33.
