Shakib has dual responsibility with SRH, says former India batsman

The absence of David Warner has made it an obligation for the rest of the players to up their game in the upcoming Indian Premier League. The Australian is going to miss the tournament due to being banned over the ball-tampering saga as Kane Williamson takes his place as the captain.
Meanwhile, former India test batsman Akash Chopra believes that Shakib Al Hasan will have more than just one responsibility in the Sunrisers’ batting line-up. While naming his preferred XI of Sunrisers for Cricinfo, he put Shakib at number five and stated that the onus is upon Shakib to hold the innings as well as finish games.

"Shakib Al Hasan has a dual responsibility. One, to be the pillar and hold the middle of the innings together and also perhaps play the role of a finisher alongside [Deepak] Hooda,” said Chopra.
The Bangladesh Test and T20I captain is somewhat of a veteran in the Indian Premier League, playing in it since 2011. This is, however, the first time that he is going to play in a team not named Kolkata Knight Riders.
And by the looks of it, he is going to be almost every game in the tournament.
