Liam Plunkett signed as Rabada replacement

After losing Kagiso Rabada to injury, the onus was on Delhi Daredevils to sign a replacement for the talented South African. With the Indian Premier League beginning later today, the Daredevils have announced that English bowler Liam Plunkett will be the man to fill up the void left by Rabada.
Rabada felt discomfort in his back during the fourth and final Test against Australia at Wanderers. It was later revealed that he had suffered from a lower back stress reaction that will keep out of action for the next three months, missing the Indian Premier League 2018 in the process.
His replacement, Plunkett, meanwhile, is a decent fast-bowling all-rounder that has 110 wickets from 113 T20 games at an average of 26.70 and will play in the Indian Premier League for the very first time. He is also quite handy with the bat as he has scored 697 runs from 74 innings at an average of 15.48.

While he might not have the talent and ability to the South African, Plunkett seems to be a decent backup option to have for the Daredevils.
