Twitter baffled by poor umpiring in Comilla-Rangpur match


And that's the end of the play-off phase of the Bangladesh Premier League as Rangpur Riders beat Comilla Victorians in the second eliminator. The match was suppose to have taken place yesterday, but after 7 overs of Comilla's innings, rain poured down and the match was abandoned for the day.
Under normal circumstances, Comilla should have gone on to the final owing to their league position during the group stages. But in a major turn of events, it was decided that the match would commence the next day from where it ended.
And if that wasn't enough to create a controversy, then the poor level of umpiring in the game surely frustrated many. Tamim Iqbal was caught plumb in front of the stumps, so many wide balls were not called - and the fans were not pleased one bit.
