Batting first, Dhaka set a challenging target of 197 runs. In response, Sylhet managed 190 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, falling just short of the target. With this win, Dhaka climbed to sixth place in the points table with 4 points.

Chasing a big target, Sylhet faced early setbacks as George Munsey (3) and Zakir Hasan (8) were dismissed cheaply. However, opener Rony Talukdar kept the chase alive with a 33-ball fifty. He eventually scored 68 off 44 balls before being bowled by Thisara Perera.

In the final overs, Zakir Ali (28 off 13) and Ariful Haque (29 off 13) reignited Sylhet's hopes, but Dhaka’s bowlers held their nerve. Mustafizur Rahman and Thisara Perera were instrumental in restricting Sylhet to 190 runs. Both picked up 2 wickets each, while Mosaddek Hossain and Mukidul Islam chipped in with one wicket apiece.

Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, Litton anchored the innings. He formed a crucial 42-run partnership with Sabbir Rahman (24 off 21) to steady the ship.

Litton reached his half-century in style, smashing a six off Sumon Khan in the 16th over. He eventually fell for 70 off 48 balls, becoming Ruhel Mia's victim.

Thisara Perera provided the late fireworks with a quickfire 37 off 17 balls. Contributions from Farmanullah Shafi and Mukidul Islam helped Dhaka post an imposing total of 196 runs.
