Dutch-Bangla Bank becomes title sponsor for BPL season 11

BPL generates over 13 crore in ticket revenue; franchises will get share

Dutch-Bangla Bank has been announced as the title sponsor for the 11th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), with Rocket, a mobile financial service, and the NexusPay app serving as powered-by and co-sponsors.
The news was shared at a logo unveiling event held on Wednesday morning at the media center of Sher-e-Bangla Stadium.

In a recent board meeting, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the schedule for this BPL season. The tournament will kick off on December 30, 2024, and run for nearly a month and a half, concluding on February 7, 2025.

This year’s BPL will feature seven teams: Dhaka Capitals, Chittagong Kings, Durbar Rajshahi, Fortune Barishal, Khulna Tigers, Rangpur Riders, and Sylhet Strikers.
Notably absent are two familiar teams—Comilla Victorians and Chattogram Challengers. Additionally, the ownership of the Dhaka team has changed, and Durbar Rajshahi has made its return to the league.
