The former Pakistan paceman Shoaib Akhtar has recently announced his comeback and said he will make a comeback on February 14. Shoaib Akhtar said it in a video posted with a caption “I will be making a comeback on February 14” on his official Tweeter account.

Shoaib said in the video with a caption, “Today's kids believe that they know a lot (about cricket) and they can challenge my bowling speed as well. So, kids, I am coming back to play and I will show you what speed really is.”  “I too will play league (cricket) so beware,” the speedster added.  Wasim Akram and Shoaib Malik replied to his video message.


Shoaib Akhtar retired from cricket after the 2011 World Cup. So, his announcement may wonder his fans. Meanwhile, the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) to kick off on February 14 and Shoaib Akhtar has joined one of the six PSL teams in some capacity.
