Dan Christian signs for Renegades

Australian all-rounder Dan Christian has been snapped up by Big Bash League franchise Melbourne Renegades in a deal that runs for three years.
The Australian is a veteran in the format and is an iconic figure in the Big Bash, helping Hobart Hurricanes reach the final of the BBL in 2017-18 season with his brilliant all-round performances.
Meanwhile, Andrew McDonald, the coach of the Renegades, revealed his joy at being able to sign the all-rounder and lauded his all-round skills, which can turn a game on its head, while also stating that Christian will give them “flexibility.”
"By signing Dan we know we've got a T20 player who has proven his ability around the world over a long period of time," Renegades coach Andrew McDonald said.

"He has the ability to change the game with his big hitting in the middle order. He also brings useful variations with the ball and plenty of experience bowling at the death so having that option gives the team added flexibility."
Dan Christian is a household name in the T20 format. Currently, he is playing for the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League after being bought for 1.5 crore rupee ($223000 approx.) in the auction earlier.
While he might not have had a good IPL thus far, he helped his Nottinghamshire team win the Natwest T20 Blast last year. He has made 1091 runs and has taken 47 wickets in his BBL history.
