Traffic jam causes DPL match to be delayed

Yes, you read that right. In general cases, matches are delayed due to rain or wet outfield or bad light. In the Dhaka Premier League today, however, something completely different happened. The match between Kalabagan Krira Chakra and Mohammedan Sporting Club got delayed due to traffic jam.
The match is taking place in Savar, which is about 25-30 kilometers from Paltan, which is where the players generally stay. The traffic condition in Dhaka is terrible as players like Manoj Tiwary, Uday Kaul and Ryan Ten Doeschate have all complained about it in the past.

This just sheds further light about the horrific traffic situation in Dhaka and puts it to further disrepute.
After a delay of about 20 minutes, the match finally began as Kalabagan are currently batting at 75/1 after 13.3 overs. Mohammad Ashraful is at the crease now and has already made 27 runs from 36 balls
