Tamim's team face another defeat after batting collapse

In the 7th encounter of PSL, the face-off between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings resulted in the latter clinching a 5 wicket victory over Zalmi. Winning the toss in Dubai, Peshawar elected to bat first.
Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal was included in the playing XI whereas Sabbir Rahman had again been sidelined. Tamim opened the innings for Zalmi alongside Kamran Akmal.
Mohammad Amir dismissed both openers as Kamran made 14 runs and Tamim managed to collect 11 runs. Dwayne Smith played a crucial innings of 71 runs and remained unbeaten while no other batsmen could go past 10 runs.
Shahid Afridi took 2 scalps for Karachi while Tymal Mills and Mohammad Irfan Jr. picked up a wicket each.

Karachi Kings did not have any difficulties chasing down the target of 132 runs as the batsmen did their duties accordingly. After an early exit of Khurram Manzoor, the following three batsmen batted sensibly and scored 20-odd runs each.
Ravi Bopara and Imad Wasim remained unbeaten as the latter smashed an over-boundary off the last ball of their innings following the departure of Mohammad Rezwan. Bopara made 17 runs and Rizwan posted 19 runs.
