The second game of the Pakistan Super League in Dubai began as Lahor Qalandar won the toss and decided to bowl first. Mustafizur Rahman is in the starting XI of Lahore as they bowl first.

Ahmed Shehzad and Kumar Sangakkara made a brilliant start to the innings with their 88 runs partnership, after which the former got out for 38 from 33 balls. Mustafizur Rahman broke the partnership with a tame delivery. Soon after, Sohaib Maqsood also departed after making four runs.

Meanwhile, Sangakkara continued batting with the class that was bestowed upon him by mother nature. He was, however, scalped by Mustafizur Rahman, but not before he scored 63 from 44 balls.

The Bangladesh left-handed pacer ended the innings as his team's best bowler, finishing with two wickets from his four overs while giving away only 22 runs.

Kieron Pollard went out for a diamond duck as he was run out by Yasir Shah. Captain Shoaib Malik finished the Multan innings in great fashion as he scored 48 from 28 before getting run out as Multan Sultans ended with 179 runs in their 20 overs.

The only two bowlers who got the wickets for Lahore were Mustafiz and Yasir Shah, who took a single wicket in his four overs and gave away 27 runs.
