Sabbir Rahman joins PSL side

In what seems like an absurd move by almost every standards,
given that Sabbir Rahman has been banned from domestic cricket for six months,
Peshawar Zalmi have signed Sabbir Rahman as “partial replacement” for Shakib Al
Hasan.
Shakib was retained by the reigning champions of the
Pakistan Super League. Since his recuperation from the finger injury isn’t
complete yet, he is going to miss the initial stages of the competition. As a result, Sabbir Rahman has been picked up
on a short-term scale.

The fact that Sabbir is currently facing a ban from domestic
cricket for physically assaulting a minor makes it almost inscrutable as to how
he got the No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Bangladesh Cricket Board for playing PSL, which is another domestic tournament.
Meanwhile, Mahmudullah Riyad and Mustafizur Rahman have
also flown to Dubai after getting their visa approved. Tamim Iqbal, on the
other hand, faced a delay due to pending visa application. He is also touted to
reach Dubai as soon as his visa problems are solved.
