Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner said that Jason Holder was a great addition to his team in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) after he impressed everyone with performance in Thursday’s win against Rajasthan Royals.
Holder came in place of injured Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh and played his first game this season as in-form Kane Williamson was not available after sustaining a hamstring injury.

The 28-year-old all-rounder picked up 3 for 33 and also involved in the ran out of Rajasthan opener Robin Uthappa.
“He obviously adds a string to our bow,” David Warner said after his team won by eight wickets in Dubai.
“His height, his experience. He couldn’t bat tonight, but he is an all-round package. That’s why we wanted Mitch Marsh... but unfortunately he got injured. Jason obviously is a quality player and a great inclusion into our team,” he added.
Jason Holder led their bowling quite well and restricted Rajasthan Royals within a competitive total of 154 for 6. Hyderabad, however, reached the target with 11 balls to spare, as Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar added an unbeaten 140-run stand. They both smashed unbeaten fifties as well.
“It is just great to show people that we do have a middle-order,” said Warner, who fell for mere four. “For them to come out and play like this, I am so happy for them. They showed they can build a platform for us to get across the line. Or set a big total. I am chuffed for them.”
