Shikhar Dhawan Reveals His Experience of Staying in Bio-bubble

Swashbuckling India and Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan is all set to play in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). However, staying in bio-bubble amid the COVID-19 situation is certainly tough for the players but Dhawan is not complaining at all. In a recent chat with Hindustan Times, he revealed that it’s nice to test the mental strength, referring to it as “Big Boss.”
The IPL 2020 will kick start on September 19 that will witness all the players being are allowed only to the hotel premises, training ground and the match venue only.
“It (the bio-bubble) is a new thing for everyone,” he said. “More than challenging, I see it as an opportunity to improve in every aspect. I keep myself entertained; I take it in a positive way.”
“It totally depends on how a person talks to himself; you can be your best friend or you can be a victim,” Dhawan shared. “You can have 10 people who are positive around you, but if you are not your friend, no one can help.
He further added, “We don’t have any outlet. I enjoy going to a restaurant, seeing people. So, how are people going to take it? This IPL it’s going to matter a lot. If people are not performing well, how do they take it? They have to stay with the same people, in the hotel only, in the same space. I am sure it’s going to have a huge impact on everyone.”
However, Dhawan also added that he has been doing meditation and yoga that helped him physically and mentally fit. Even he said that his stamina, focus, and mobility got better as well.
