Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Wasim Khan has revealed that the much-awaited Asia Cup will take place on the given schedule of September or October either in Sri Lanka or UAE.
Right after the disclosure of the statement an official from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) suggested PCB to postpone their Pakistan Super League (PSL) and hold the meet on that window, rather than asking BCCI to halt their most lucrative franchise tournament Indian Premier League (IPL).

The BCCI is now in the process and if the ICC T20 World Cup is rescheduled to next year, BCCI will then host IPL on that slot.
In a response to the BCCI functionary official, PCB made their stand clear about not planning to postpone their PSL in order to fix the Asia Cup tournament in that time slot. PCB postponed their PSL just before the playoff matches and are hoping to complete the remaining encounters later this year and not even want to compromise their stand.
On the other hand, BCCI is keeping their eye on the ICC statement over the fate of the 2020 T20 World Cup. If the showpiece event gets pushed to next year, they will since conduct the IPL in that September-October window.
