Rashid’s mother passes away

Legendary Afghanistan leg-spin all-rounder Rashid Khan’s mother Rashid Jana has passed away after battling with a prolonged illness on Thursday.
Rashid Khan himself confirmed the demise of his beloved mother through his Facebook post where he urged his fans and well-wishers to pray for his mother’s departed soul.
“I regret to inform you that my mother passed away and I will be not having her prayers and best wishes anymore. My family and I are going through a difficult and extraordinary hard time,” Rashid Khan wrote in his Facebook post.
“Please keep my mother in your prayers. May Allah rest her soul in peace,” he added.
Two years ago during his 2018 Big Bash tournament match in Adelaide, Australia Rashid Khan lost his father while he was representing Adelaide Strikers.
Despite the news of his father’s death, he carried out his match to the end.
Later in his Twitter handle the Afghan leg-spinner posted another hurtful post regarding his mother.
“You were my home, my mother I had no home but you. I can’t believe you are no more with me you will #MOTHER missed forever. Rest In Peace (RIP),” Rashid Khan wrote on his Twitter.
