Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed Younis Khan as their batting coach for their upcoming series against England.
Younis khan is the first and only Pakistan batsman to score 10,00O Test runs for his country.
Beside Younis, the PCB also appoints former Pakistan spinner Mushtaq Ahmed as the spin bowling coach for the touring party.

After being appointed in PCB job, Younis Khan in his reaction said he is looking forward to working with the boys in the English condition.
“I’ve never been shy of sharing my experiences and knowledge and I think this particular tour provides me with an ideal opportunity where I can spend post-training time with the players to engage with them on batting techniques, bowler assessments, mental toughness exercises besides talking them through with scenario planning,” Younis Khan said.
“We all know English conditions demand not only precise technique but patience and discipline, and if you can master these, then you will not only excel in England but anywhere in the world,” Younis was quoted as saying in the PCB’s press release.
“With the quality we have in the team, I think we have a good chance to produce good results if we prepare properly, get our processes right and hit the ground running as soon as we land,” he added.
The 42-year-old Khan has an impressive record when it comes to playing in English conditions. He scored 810 runs in 16 innings at an average of 50.62 with a top score of 218.
