West Indian players especially Sunil Narine was a bit moody as claimed by Obeid R Nizam, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Dhaka Dynamites, a franchise team of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Dynamites have always been the front runner for the title shot of the most lucrative tournament of the country where many West Indies players participated to cheer up the environment.
Nowadays, they have been called as the heart of the tournament as they are labeled as the most entertaining players in Twenty20 cricket worldwide for their pinch-hitting and big-hitting prowess to their celebrations.

However, Dhaka Dynamites the CEO thinks that it’s really hard to maintain their mood especially in the case of the off-spin bowler Sunil Narine and the opener Evin Lewis.
“The West Indians are a little bit moody as I saw in the last four years. For example, I can mention the name of Sunil Narine for whom we set up a pool table. As he likes to stay only in his room, he is very introverted. We had to nurture him in such a different way,” Obeid R Nizam said.
“To maintain him, we installed pool tables, guards, and table tennis as well because you know his nature. We would know that he was moody. So, there was always a special arrangement for him,” Obaid said in a live session with Cricfrenzy.com.
“Evin Lewis was also to some extent a bit moody, because at the birth of his child, he didn’t wish to play. We all got involved, the chairman came over and talked to him. He wanted to leave. This kind of thing we had to deal with. But we managed,” he added.
But Dhaka Dynamites head coach Khaled Mahmud Sujon thinks otherwise as he says they love to have fun and are in a funny mood.
“West Indian boys are all funny, they are very lively. They like to keep the team strong all the time,” Khaled Mahmud said.
“Depending on their mood it becomes a little difficult when their mood is off. Even then they are friendly and helpful,” he added.
