This is Bangladesh first test victory in their last seven test matches. They also suffer three back to back innings defeat in their last three test.
Bangladesh strong victory came because of the strong batting performance in their first innings. Mushfiqur Rahim third double hundred helps Bangladesh declaring their innings for 560/5 runs. Mushfiqur also became the highest run-scorer in this test match for Bangladesh bypassing opening batsman Tamim Iqbal.
Mushfiqur Rahim was named man of the match in this test match.

Raza fell early into the second session but Timycen Maruma and Regis Chakabva stitched a 44-run stand to arrest the slide for a brief period. Taijul Islam broke that stand with the wicket of the latter before his partner-in-crime Nayeem removed Ainsley Ndlovu.
Nayeem Hasan was the main taker for Bangladesh in both innings. Nayeem took five wickets in the second innings. He also took for wickets in the first.
Criag Ervine was the highest run-scorer for Zimbabwe in both innings. He scored 43 runs and was run out by Mominul Haque .
Taijul Islam came back strongly in the second innings after he was a little of color in the first innings. He took four wickets in the second innings.
