Rain threat looms large Bangladesh closes in on victory

Bangladesh has taken three wickets in the morning session and close in towards victory but the weather may come in their way in the lone test match at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National cricket stadium on Tuesday.
Zimbabwe has scored 114 /5 in the end of the first session after starting the day on 9/2. Zimbabwe needs to score another 181 runs to avoid an innings defeat.
Mominul made the most important run out in the match by removing his counterpart Craig Ervine for 43 runs. Ervine was looking good and he also made a hundred in the first innings.
Taijul Islam got the early breakthrough for Bangladesh as he removed Zimbabwe opener Kasuza for 10 runs. Mohammed Mithun took the catch in the first slip.
Nayeem started where he finished off last day by taking wickets in his first over of Brendon Taylor. Nayeem took three wickets in the second innings.

A quick-fire 60 runs partnership between captain Craig Ervine and Sikander Raza give Zimbabwe some hope but Mominul runs out dented their progress.
Sikander Raza is batting on 33 runs and Maruma is batting on three runs.
