Mashrafe to go beyond Zimbabwe Series!

Cricket fans all around the country is overjoyed with the success of Bangladesh team in the just concluded ICC Under-19 World Cup.
The senior Tigers returned home after being humiliated in Pakistan and there will be lot of attention on the Zimbabwe series and more specifically on the future of Mashrafee bin Mortaza.
Zimbabwe is coming to Bangladesh on February 15 to play a full series comprising of Test, ODI’s and T20’s and there is lot of speculation regarding the future of ODI’s skipper Mashrafee, who only plays 50-over format.

Mashrafe has met Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo and talked about his future plan .Though Domingo did not disclose anything to the media Mashrafe has clearly stated that he wanted to continue playing international cricket.
According to sources Mashrafee told Domingo that he wants to take a decision after playing in the upcoming Dhaka Premier League and added that he is looking forward to see what the selection committee does with his selection in the national team.
Bangladesh Cricket Board still did not announce any new captain for their ODI squad and it is almost certain that Mashrafe will lead the home series against Zimbabwe.
Though BCB president has stated that they want to give a farewell to Mashrafe in front of home crowds but is the last press conference of the BBPL matches Mashrafe have other plans regarding his retirement.
‘’It is not important that I will be retiring from the field with flowers .i think I should be allowed to play with full freedom .i will not be retiring by anybody's wish. i used to think about retirement before but not now ‘’ said Mashrafe after the BPL Matches.
Bangladesh will be playing 10 ODI in this year but Mashrafe have to start taking a wicket for the teams to be playing all those matches for Bangladesh color.
