Former Pakistan player agrees with Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah Riyad on his opinion about Lahore wicket in the first match of the three-match T20 series.
Mahmudullah was very critical of the pitches in the first T-20 match in his post-match press conference
“I expected a little bit better from the wicket because once the ball got older, we found it difficult to score runs. The ball did not come on to the bat as we expected," Mahmudullah said on Friday after the first match.

"It was difficult for the later batters to come and hit straight away. Once the ball got old, it was difficult to bat. The ball was holding on the wicket and the batsmen struggled to get underneath. Mahmudullah added.
Former Pakistan captains Inzamam-ul Haq and Rashid Latif was not happy with the pitches in the first T20. Inzamam was very angry with the behavior of the pitches indeed.
‘’I do not think it is a T20 wicket at any moment. I am requesting the pitch curator to make good pitches. People come to watch fours and sixes in T20 matches. This pitch was really difficult and 142 was looking like a big score to chase ‘’said Inzamam in his personal youtube channel.
However, Rashid Latif blames the cold weather condition In Lahore for the pitches. The temperature was as low as 5 degrees in Pakistan and thus the outcome of the pitches not good.
‘’it is difficult to make good wicket in cold condition. But if PCB wants they can make a wicket of 160-170 runs. We are not expecting 200 run pitches but 140 run is very low in current T20 cricket’’ said Latif in his youtube channel name caught behind.
