Bangladesh young left-handed opener Nazmul Hossain Shanto said on Mondat that they are not thinking about security issues in Pakistan rather insisted tat they are eyeing to leave a mark against the world number one ranked T20 team at their own backyard.
Security looks to be the major talking point during the build-up for the three-match T20 series, scheduled from January 24-27.

BCB, who recently decided that the upcoming tour of Pakistan will go ahead but insisted that it will be played in three installments as the tourist are not to ready to send their team to Pakistan for more than seven days at a stretch due to security reasons, said that they are sending an advance security team to Pakistan while they will be accompanied by personnel from national security agencies during their upcoming three-match T20I tour.
‘’I am not thinking much about that [security] .As a professional cricketer I am focused more on the game and this[ security] is not in my hands so I am not worried about it,’’ said Nazmul adding that he is eyeing to cash on the experience that he gathered during his visit to Pakistan in 2017 to take part in the ACC Emerging Cup.
‘’I went there last time [ with the Emerging team in 2017] and I think the wicket that we played last year in Pakistan was very good wicket and was sporting wicket,’’ he said.
‘’If the bowler bowls in the right area then they get help and batsman can score runs. If we can play to our strength and execute our plans than we can score big runs and bowlers can take wicket as well,’’ he said.
‘’In T-20 any team can beat any team and we are not worried about the series very much as we will play match by match. In T20 cricket the team that play well on the particular day will win and we are focusing to perform on that particular day,’’ he concluded.
