Bangladesh young left-handed opener Nazmul Hossain Shanto said on Monday that he is not very worried with his batting position and he is ready to bat anywhere in the Bangladesh team.

Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo insisted that they are going to experiment with the batting order as they are trying to see who fits where in the shortest format as they are preparing a road map for the next ICC World Twenty20 through trying out different batting order for every cricketer.

Nazmul said that he is ready to take the challenge of batting anywhere during the tour of Pakistan for the three-match T20 series.

‘’I am not worried about batting position, as I got chance in the team I can play in any position and I will try to perform where ever I play and in any batting position,’’ said Nazmul adding that he prefers to bat at the top though.

‘’Usually I play in the top order and I am most comfortable batting at top order but as a professional cricketer I should score runs at any batting position,’’ he said,

‘’ I think big cricketers can score runs from any position and I am thinking where ever I get the chance to bat I will try to perform,’’ he said.
Nazmul said that he is not taking any extra pressure like trying to fill the gap created by Mushfiqur Rahim, who withdrawn him from the tour due to family reason.

‘’Our selectors have faith in us and have taken us to play. We are not thinking about Mushfiqur bhai absence we have to score more runs and there is nothing like that,’’ he said.
