Cricket Australia CEO in town to watch BBPL final

Cricket Australia chief executive Kevin Roberts will be present along with many high profile guest in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League final between Rajshahi Royals and Khulna Tigers at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Friday.
In last year BPL final ICC president Shashank Manohar was present to watch the match and it appears BCB is continuing to follow the same path in when it comes to host the final of BBPL.
Kevin Roberts was initially invited to watch the match between Asia XI and World XI that will be hosted by BCB to celebrate the 100 th birth anniversary of the father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in March but according to BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury he[ Kevin] will be busy during that time.
‘’He is currently in India and has told he wants to come to watch the final of BBPL and we agreed,’’ Nizamuddin.
Sri Lanka Cricket officials will also watch this year final.
Both the high officials arrived to see how the BBPL works under the direct supervision of BCB as they preferred not to include any franchise in this edition of the Twenty20 tournament.
