Bangladesh Cricket Board is expected to incur a loss of TK Two Crores for visiting Pakistan on three occasions, said BCB sources.
BCB decided to tour Pakistan on three occasions inside four months to complete the series comprising three T20 internationals along with two Tests and an ODI.

BCB boss Nazmul said that they have agreed to play an ODI’s in their upcoming tour of Pakistan in order help PCB earn some revenues as the host will face loss while accommodating them for three occasions inside four months.
The decision to tour Pakistan thrice inside four months is considered to be failure as far as cricket diplomacy is considered though BCB president insisted that he is not finding any reason to receive such criticism.
Several BCB directors on request of anonymity told Cricfrenzy that they were quite surprised when it was disclosed that Bangladesh will tour Pakistan on three occasions.
Along with losing in cricket diplomacy deal BCB will incur loss of at least TK Two crore for visiting Pakistan on three occasions as on each occasion they will have to pay the plane fare that will cost more than TK One crore.
According to the cricketing norms the tourist will have to pay the plane fair along with paying 50 dollar as tour fee while the host board gives all other expenses that includes TA (Travel allowance and Daily allowance).
If we had visited them for once than the plane fair would be much lesser than what we have to pay if we visit for three times. I am not sure for what we have agreed to visit there thrice but probably there must be some other deals behind this agreement,’’ said a BCB official hinting at hosting Asia Cup that is expected to cover the losses as well as disburse some money in the bank account of BCB.
