Shoaib reminds Bangladesh of Pakistan’s help in getting Test status!

While Bangladesh wants to tour in Pakistan for a T20 series only, former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhter urged the Tigers to play the full series that included a two-match Test series also.
According to the fast bowler, Bangladesh and Pakistan players share long-standing friendships between them. A lot of Pakistan players are playing in this year’s Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BBPL) and in yesteryear players like Wasim Akram used to play regularly in Bangladesh’s club cricket.
Shoaib Akhter also feels Pakistan help Bangladesh in getting the Test status.
‘’Do Bangladesh remember how we helped them in the past? We have helped Bangladesh getting test status and have helped them play in test cricket as well. Bangladesh loves us very much ‘’ Akhter said in a talk show in PTV Sports.
‘’simply you do not need to get affected by others' talk. You people come and play Test cricket. We will give you lot of love and respect .we need your help ‘’he added
Former Pakistan wicket-keeper Rashid Latif has advised Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to have patience as he is favor of Bangladesh playing T20 cricket
“Pakistan should not be in a hurry.PCB should give Bangladesh time. Every board has different strategies. Bangladesh should come and play T20 cricket,” Latif said.
