Mahmudullah backs 'Champion' Mustafizur despite ordinary performance

Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah said on that they are ready to back Mustafizur Rahman as the team popular belief is that he is a champion bowler despite repetitive failure.
While he is considered as the most talented bowler and only one game away from getting into the groove, his action does not speak that way as his best is not coming for quite a while.
In the last 10 Twenty20 he picked nine wickets in 33.4 overs conceding 315 runs with an economy rate of 9.35.
‘’I think in every cricketer life there comes a moment when he could not perform in 3 or 4 or 5 games up to the team expectation but I think he is a champion bowler,’’ said Mahmudullah.
‘’We expect more from him but he could not perform according to our expectation,’’ he said.
But I do not think we should rethink anything about him because I think we should all support his struggle and the way he is practicing I think he is just one match away before coming to his best,’’ he said.
‘’He is worked really hard and He is concern about this matter[ lack of form] and talking with the coach as well,’’ he said.
‘’And he knows, he is concern about this matter. So it’s not like, if he takes a break or dropped, I personally don’t feel that. Because you have to support a champion bowler because i think he is our match-winning bowler. When he will return to full of his rhythm, Bangladesh will win the matches,’’ he said.
