Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo feels Shakib al Hasan is paying a heavy price for the mistake he has made in the match-fixing issue.

ICC has banned Shakib for not as he had been banned for unable to report a corrupt approach and Bangladesh head coach is all aware of missing Shakib service for the next year.

But according to Domingo Shakib’s absence can be a blessing disguise as it 

‘’ Anybody will miss Shakib. He is a fantastic cricketer; he is a leading all-rounder in World cricket,’’ Domingo told reporters at the Arun Jatley Stadium on Friday. 

‘’The players look up to him; he is obviously a big loss for use,’’ he said adding that they are disappointed  of not having  Shakib playing in the series. 

.  There is no doubt about itShakib has been a big player for Bangladesh, and he has been friend with lot other players. Obviously, it affected some other players, he made a mistake. And he is paying the price for it. there is nothing much we can do about it. There is nothing we can control or something that affects much at the moment’’.he said

‘’ It is very tricky because he is best number three and often starts the bowling. He bowls for over in every single game. He is one our leading batters. You got decided whether you replace the bowler or replace the batsman because it is very difficult to replace both. Very few players provide you both the skills’’. said Domingo
