Bangladesh Women’s A team concede one-day series to India

Bangladesh Women’s A team tasted a 68-run defeat to Indian counterpart in the second one-day game at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Sunday to concede the three-match one-day series.
Bangladesh Women’s A team lost the first match by eight wickets.
The second game was reduced to 24-over per side due to a rain and India, being sent to bat first, scored 133-6 with Yastika Bhatia making highest 32. Tejal Hasabnis contributed 26 while Minnu Mani chipped-in-with 24.

Ritu Moni and Khadiza Tul Kubra took two wickets apiece for Bangladesh Women’s A team.
However the hosts could muster only 65-8 in 24 overs to concede the game what was a must-win match for them to stay alive in the series.
Ritu Moni was the highest scorer for the side with 25. Sobhana Mostary and Nuzhat Tumpa were only two other batters to reach double digit figure, making 13 and 12 runs respectively.
Devika Vadiya claimed 3-8 for India Women’s A team and was adjudged player of the match.
The third one-day match between the two sides is on October 8.
