Mominul to lead Bangladesh in Sri Lanka

Mominul Haque will lead Bangladesh A team in the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Tuesday.
Bangladesh A will play two four-day matches and three one-dayers against Sri Lanka A during the tour. The team leaves for Colombo on Wednesday.
‘’I think we need to concentrate on this tour as we have lot of Test matches in the upcoming days and in order to prepare us for the Test championship this tour is very important,’’ Mominul told reporters on Monday.
Four day matches will help us to have the confidence under our belt and that is very important,’’ he said.
Bangladesh lost the lone Test match against Afghanistan and looked to be in dire straits considering it was a big dent for their ego after being humiliated by the new Test playing nation that too at their own backyard.
