Bangladesh young all-rounder Afif Hossain said that he want to make a permanent place in the national dressing room.
BCB had included Afif in their Twenty 20 squad for the opening two games in the upcoming tri-nation series involving Zimbabwe and Afghanistan.
Afif, who was debuted in the February 2018 through a Twenty 20 match against Sri Lanka, however was not part in the national set-up after the series.

‘’While playing the recent matches I wanted to perform well so that i could make a comeback in the national team,’’ Afif told Cricfrenzy.
‘’If I get the chance to play for national side again than I would like to make a permanent position for myself through performance,’’ he said.
Afif said that he is quite confident after his stint with the Sri Lanka HP squad where he scored a century and a half-century.
‘’I am playing in the middle order for A team and I am feeling lot more confident because of the way I batted against the Sri Lankans. Now I want to carry that form in the T20 matches for the national team,’’ he said adding that his role has changed during the course of time despite making a name for himself through his bowling exploits in BPL in 2016, where he picked five wickets on debut for Rajshahi Kings.
‘’I was a batsman in my younger days..just got the opportunity to bowl at that time[ in BPL] and bowl well,’’ said Afif.
‘’People used to know me as a bowler and at that point and then I got the opportunity to bat at BPL and perform there and as a result establish myself,’’ he said.
